SPOTLIGHT THEATER: A BRUCE GOFF ICON

On this tour, we’ll explore the Goff-designed Riverside Studio, also known as Spotlight Theater, unraveling the secrets of its architectural brilliance and delving into the captivating stories that make this iconic structure a testament to Bruce Goff’s enduring legacy.
The format for this tour will feature a seated 20 minute lecture-style presentation by Spotlight Theater Board President, John Beasley, followed by a guided walk through the building to see spaces that are generally not open to the public.
TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets for this tour are $20 for not yet members and $15 for members (25% discount). We want to do our part to help cultivate the next generation of architecture lovers, so kids 12 and under are welcome to participate in most of our tours free of charge!

PARKING: There is ample street parking, which is free on weekends!
ON TOUR DAY: Please arrive 10 minutes early to get checked in. Tours begin at 9:00 am and continue in 30-minute increments. Consult your ticket for the departure time you selected when purchasing your ticket.
This tour takes place indoors. The historic building has unavoidable stairs: please purchase tickets accordingly.

SUPPORT INFORMATION: TFA tours include 0.5-1.5 miles of walking (typically on streets/sidewalks, which sometimes include uneven terrain) in a variety of weather conditions. Seating is limited or non-existent along many of our tour routes. If it will improve your experience, we encourage you to bring a lightweight stool, walking stick, or other assistive device!
Routes to avoid stairs are planned in advance for those who need an elevator or ramp. Our docents use a personal microphone to enhance hearing ability for all on the tour. You are welcome to move closer to the docent or request a volume adjustment at any time.
