You are invited to Tulsa Foundation for Architecture’s monthly walking tour. Mark your calendar, because TFA Second Saturday Tours feature a different historical area or topic each month. Tulsa has a rich architectural heritage and TFA is passionate about sharing our knowledge with you. Grab your coffee and join in the fun!
June’s tour is KENDALL-WHITTIER: An American Mainstreet A bustling shopping district from the late 1920s through the 1950s was devastated by the highway project that would bisect it in 1967. But impressive investment projects have restored this once-neglected area, now home to a mix of galleries, breweries, restaurants, and non-mainstream retail.
On this tour, we’ll explore Tulsa’s first “suburban” shopping district.
TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets for this tour are $20 for not yet members and $15 for members. We want to do our part to help cultivate the next generation of architecture lovers, so kids 12 and under are always welcome to participate in our tours free of charge.

ON TOUR DAY: Please arrive 10 minutes early to get checked in. Tours begin at 10:00 am and continue in 15-minute increments. Consult the bottom of your tickets for your pre-selected departure time. We recommend checking the forecast, dressing for the weather, and wearing comfy walking shoes. You’ll be on foot for this 1.5-hour tour. Tours happen rain or shine!
