Dwell 2014: the Tour Continues

The first “Dwell in the IDL” tour attracted over 700 tourgoers anxious to discover the latest residential developments in the heart of Tulsa. On November 9th we plan to do it again!

The 2014 edition will showcase downtown living through adaptive reuse and creative new construction within the ring of expressways known as the Inner Dispersal Loop, or IDL. Seven properties will be on display Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Participants can get a glimpse of the revitalization that is happening in the downtown core.

A few highlights of the upcoming tour include the Vandever Lofts, 100 Boulder, Aloft Hotel and the iconic Philtower Building.

This alternative to renting boasts private balconies and high-tech kitchens. The Aloft Hotel is an adaptive reuse of City Hall. Every Tulsan can identify the beautiful Philtower Building. With its colorful pyramid roof, it remains an identifying structure in the downtown Tulsa skyline. This beautiful Gothic Revival skyscraper was a leader in the revitalization of downtown living.

TFA Trustee Cassandra Peters may have put it best, “If you want to explore downtown and experience living in an urban environment, Dwell in the IDL is a must-see event.”
