Found in our Collections: John Brooks Walton

This beautiful color rendering of a residence designed by John Brooks Walton is another previously unprocessed item that has now been inventoried and cataloged. An author and esteemed authority on Tulsa’s historic homes, architect John Brooks Walton is a well-known figure in Oklahoma’s architectural history. Just this year, we have uncovered sixteen sets of drawings pertaining to residences designed by Walton, and that number will continue to grow thanks to our members’ support.

A portion of membership donations fund the ongoing operations of the TFA Archives, including the work that goes into ensuring that historic documents such as this one are preserved and made available to researchers.

Each month, we will be highlighting an artifact newly found in our collections—all thanks to the ongoing support of our members. Not yet a member? Click here to join now!
