Preservation Oklahoma will present POK 20/20 on November 14, 2013.
The event is billed as a fun and entertaining evening for recognizing the achievements of 2013 and looking ahead to the opportunities and challenges before the historic preservation community.
We’re especially excited because two TFA members will be receiving special recognition this year. Marty Newman will be presented with the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for his tireless dedication to saving architectural treasures. And TFA Trustee, Amanda J. DeCort, will receive the Preservation Oklahoma Young Leadership Award.
The event will take place at the Woody Guthrie Center, located in the recently renovated Mathews Warehouse Building at 102 E. Brady. Tickets to the event include access to the museum’s galleries and attendees will be able to view historic artifacts of Guthrie’s life, including the original, hand-written lyrics to “This Land is Your Land.”
Tickets are $20 for POK Members, $30 for Non-members. For more details on the event or Preservation Oklahoma visit preservationok.org.
