Join us for our monthly architectural walking tour! Each month we feature a different historical area or topic of downtown.
September’s tour will be the Cathedrals District.
We will take you inside some of the cathedrals and discuss the history of these buildings.
Boston Avenue Methodist Church has a wedding Saturday so we are unable to include them on our tour. From 8:30 am – 10 am, they will have printed self-guided tours at the front desk and docents available to answer questions for those interested in stopping by on their own time to learn more about it. Just make sure you leave enough time to check-in for your tour at Foolish Things Coffee!
Tickets go on sale to TFA Members August 15th, and to the public August 22nd via Eventbrite. A link will be posted on Facebook and sent to our email list. Not a member yet? Become one today at tulsaarchitecture.com/membership
Tickets are $13 to benefit the nonprofit Tulsa Foundation for Architecture, and kids 12 and under are free, as always. Tours start at 9:00 and continue in 30-minute increments. Consult the bottom of your tickets for departure time! You’ll want to early to get checked in and get your coffee.
Dress for the weather and wear comfy shoes for this 1.5 hour tour – we’ll be on foot! Tours happen rain or shine.
*To redeem a complimentary tour ticket you received in the mail after becoming a TFA member – enter the code at the bottom of the ticket during checkout. The older tickets don’t have codes. If yours doesn’t, continue to purchase tickets as normal and bring your complimentary ticket(s) with you the day of the tour. We can refund your ticket price on the spot at check-in.
