Tuesday, April 15th, 2025
$30 | $22.50 | 6:00-8:00 PM
Have you ever wondered about the history of your home? Who lived there before you? What stories its walls could tell? Join Tulsa Foundation for Architecture for an engaging workshop on researching the history of your home, led by our Curator of Public Engagement, Lindsey Neal Kuykendall, alongside expert guests Tracy Anquoe and John Spillyards, specialists in historic home research, and Arena Mueller, researcher and founder of the Renaissance Neighborhood History Project.
This workshop will guide you through the process of deciphering deeds, abstracts, and archival records, helping you uncover the rich history of your home and the people who once inhabited it. The session will include a presentation, a panel discussion, and a Q&A with our experts, providing invaluable insights into historical research techniques and resources.
Whether you live in a century-old house or a mid-century gem, this workshop will equip you with the tools to piece together your home’s unique story. Join us and start your journey into the past!
