Join Tulsa Foundation for Architecture in partnership with Duet for a special new dinner series featuring the history of Tulsa’s historic musical hotspots from then and now. Tulsa has a rich architectural heritage and TFA is passionate about sharing our knowledge with you!
At this dinner, you will learn about the history of Tulsa’s legendary Magician’s Theater through short presentations while enjoying a four course meal complete with wine pairings. A portion of the proceeds from this dinner benefit Tulsa Foundation for Architecture, a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
TICKET INFORMATION: Cost per person for this event is $75 per person. Price includes (4) dinner courses with wine pairings. This is a 21+ event.
DINNER MENU:
Course 1
Shrimp Enchilada with Mango Pico de Gallo
Wine Pairing: Stoller Chardonnay, Oregon“This is strikingly crisp, fresh, juicy and loaded with tart lemon, orange and grapefruit flavors. It’s high in acidity but in the best possible way, washing over the palate with generous fruit and cleansing minerality. It was fermented in stainless steel, with a small proportion in concrete.”
Course 2
Chicken Lasagna Fra Diavolo
Wine Pairing: Paul Dolan Zinfandel, North Coast“Rich ruby red. On the nose at first slightly reductive, then dried rose leaf underlaid with slightly malty notes. On the palate emphatically grippy with gripping tannin, candied red fruit, lightly drying.”
Course 3
Red Wine braised Short Ribs Mashed Potatoes
Wine Pairing: The Mill Keeper Red Blend, California“This Bordeaux blend is a stunning expression of the Napa Valley growing region that indulges the senses with its soft tannins, balanced acidity, and full, lengthy finish. Hints of cocoa and barrel spice complement the mid-palate of dark fruits. A smooth, rich red blend with medium body and subtle oak influence that pairs with wherever the night may take you.”
